It’s just a retro font that amateur designers try to put on stuff to make it seem cool and personal, like a handwriting. It reminds me of Harlequin romance novels and late 80’s/early 90’s advertising and Saved By The Bell. This is one of the fonts that I absolutely hate. Other than seeing how fashion has repeated itself with rompers, crop top shirts, skinny jeans, red lipstick, big hair and pixie cuts, I also noticed the unbearable font that was used for the opening credits… yes, you guess it. And tonight I had the pleasure of watching a movie called “Hard Lessons: The George McKenna Story” (1986), starring Denzel Washington. I was prompted to write this post because, well… I haven’t blogged in far too long, but also, as of late, I’ve been a late night Netflix-er.
